Dominic May, Director

BA(Hons) Architecture, DipArch, ARB, RIBA

Dominic has been leading architectural practices for more than twenty years. He set up Method Architects twelve years ago with a remit to offer his knowledge and experience of complex developments in a client-focused environment.

Previously, as a senior director and board member of Pollard Thomas Edwards he was in charge of the design of some of London’s biggest regeneration projects. This included the masterplanning of new districts and entire city blocks as well as devising viable mixed-use and mixed tenure schemes for challenging inner-city sites, often at medium- to high-densities.

Dominic has served as a Civic Trust Award Assessor and taught at both Liverpool and Manchester Schools of Architecture.

Wendy Ebringer, Director

BSc(Hons), BA(Hons) Architecture, DipArch, ARB, RIBA

Wendy joined Method in 2011 after a 20-year career as an architect working in both London and Melbourne. She has a passion for the ability of architecture to transform the mood and sensations of spaces to the benefit of Method’s hugely successful hospitality portfolio.

Method is also one of the rare practices that places a premium on communication skills, helped by Wendy’s experience as the head of the communications team for a number of years at a large London practice of architects and of large-scale public consultation processes.

This is how Method has built on-going collaborations with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities such as local councils, English Heritage and the Greater London Authority and its advisors.

Together they have forged Method’s business and design approach – one that understands the relationship between investment and quality, risk and reward.

Wendy has been a committee member of the London Festival of Architecture and has served as a RIBA London Awards shortlister. She has lectured on architectural publicity and branding.
